Mercury Retrograde started today. Communications breakdown more than often as a general trend for the next three weeks.

That is to bad. I was looking forward to hear what you thought about the magic bag show. Anyway thanks a lot for coming again, the third time now. The concert was great and all of the extras were really impressive. See you in the fall rumor has it. MJ FRIMODIG

Leave it to us today. The stuff that disappears from us was probably meant to happen. Aren't we all in love with the elusive, the stuff we would love to hold onto with both hands and never let go? A lesson in transience and impermanence has so much to teach us. If we can let stuff go remarkably we find ourselves in a new state of being. Liberated but still torn by the the loss of what we have tried so hard to hang onto. I just received a wonderful package from a dear friend this morning…it made me realize that just as a huge part of my past is slowly disappearing new paths are beginning to magically unfold.

Man, usually when a blog gets deleted, we are treated to a priceless string of profanities!

I guess you felt like behaving yourself today…

    Keep rocking.

    Steve,

I would expect you wrote about the outstanding concert at The Magic Bag last night. What a show my first acoustic Church show and WOW!!! you guys rocked. Space Needle needs to be re-recorded the way you guys played it and the trip down memory lane was beautiful. Please tell Tim the percussion last night was the highlight of the show. It all started with Starfish for me and I remember eagerly awaiting for every release after that. Anyway I hope you are enjoying these shows as much as we are. I am sure you miss your family, so Thank You for the best 22 years of music for me and congradulations on your 30th overall. I was in the front seated row with the Priest=Aura shirt, I only mention it becuase that is my vote if you are going to perform an entire album live the next round.

    Travel safe,

    Jason (jmb066)

    It's funny, no | 20 April 2010 at 1:06 am #

    a rocket ship explodes
and everyone still wants to fly

    It's funny though how
when I listen to The Church
I find little trace of the man
    The Certain Gentleman.
    What are you acting here?
    I saw your microscope smile…

I remember recently an upset commentor ranted about wishing he'd never read The Time Being as it ruined his illusion of the man behind the music or somesuch.

Get over it I know, but
    there's something vital
    about an individuals passionate
ownership of a songs imaginary world and I can see how a trip to the kitchen could blow the icing off that magical dessert.

    I really like the TTB
    but it is a paradox
when compared to your singing in The Church.
It's like your songs are channelled
as much as they are created.

    Woop..Blogjack.

I'll tell myself to fuck off shall I…

    xx

ya, gotta agree with (other) Jason (mr. jmb066) that Tim's drumming really made the show for me in Madison the other night. it was the perfect cement for a fan-tastic show. bravi!

sorry the previous post got lost in the ether… sometimes ya haf ta copy the posts just to make sure they're not consumed by the great bit-munching beast that lurks behind each post, waiting for its chance to strike…

Well I'll write a blog for you.
I'm fat, going bald, to lazy to do anything about anything
    Not really depressed
Just lazy and uninterested in everything
Stepped on a stink bug but stopped just in time to save it's life. Threw it out the window, smelled my fingers, washed my hands.
Playing video games and smoking cigarettes.
    watching pawn stars

Had the first 'crash' with new computer after 5 months last week, so thanks for the reminder to back up stuff.

Always copy n paste where you can until you're sure stuff has been saved (even if you then just delete the copy straight off)

    Dear Mr. Kilbey,

My husband and I saw you guys live for the first time last night at the Magic Bag. Really enjoyed the show. Starfish is the soundtrack to our 22 years together. Can't hear it without giving each other "the look". And now this commercial, well, now he's coming home for lunch every day.
Thank you very much for all the beautiful music over the years!
    Sincerely,
Happily married in Michigan-weather and all!

Hey, "It's funny, no" at 11:06– Don't you have different facets of your personality? Aren't we all a bit different depending on where we are and with whom? I know I am diffent in a meeting at work, with my friends when we go out for a drink, with my mom, or playing with my kids, or with my husband at the end of the evening..
So, OF COURSE Steve will be different day to day, on and off stage, depending on how he's feeling and what his AMAZING CREATIVE mind is coming up with. And instead of finding something to poke at, you should thank him for sharing himself with us. But if you just want to see and hear him sing, buy the music and go to his shows! Tah-dah problem solved!
Steve- THANK YOU for letting us in. I happen to love reading TTB and love not only your songs, but the complex, interesting, creative man behind them– your words, art, videos, and just seeing you with your beautiful wife and daughters.
Sorry you lost today's blog– looking forward to the next one.

Allow yourself to be fleeced on eBay as some anonymous dude makes a mint from selling Deadman's Hand. Currently watching the proceedings on tour programme and EP. Bets on final selling price…$30 $40 $50…?

How "Transient" your blog was. Did you expect it to "Disappear?" I guess you wouldn't since you're not exactly a "Telepath." I suppose the network was "Too Fast For You." Write a new one, "Don't Look Back." Don't become "Disenchanted." You'll work through all the "Chaos."

    Please shoot me now.

You genuinely look sorry that you blog has disappeared into cyber-blogland. Either that or else acting is another string you can add to your bow!
Such a shame though, cos with any other blog we could probably work what would have been written and how, but with you SK….. Well no certainty attached eh?

Just noted on hotel womb you’re doing an acoustic evening on 4th November, would love to experience that, but I suppose I’ll just have to carry on enjoying my ‘acoustic and intimate’ CD, even if it is 10 years old.

Arrrgggh! How maddening when that happens. You look miffed, as you should be.

Geez, I remember the good 'ol days pre-PC, Facebook, Twitter, emails, laptops, word processors, fax machines, cellphones, Ipads, VCRs, CDs.

    Good Lord, I'm only 50! Sounds like I'm 150!

Anyway, sorry to hear you lost your blog, Steve.
