jeffrey hit the airport today
what a dear friend and valuable colleague
we have made an incredible 2nd album
the music is superb
cain is a master writer crafting strange melodic wonderful songs
i believe i sang pretty well
some titles to whet your appetite
the reappearance (of isidore)
repossession
life somewhere else
the privateer
belle in mid air
that old black spirit
you will remain (for gregory)
some reverse magic
song of the city, song of the road
readymade
blessing
…ive forgotten some of the others
the spirit of our dear departed drummer informed our sessions
this album will be dedicated to the memory of gregory slay
a true trickster and sorely missed companion
did i mention cedric le moynes incredible bass playing?
i am truly excited and truly inspired
i think its a thing of real love n beauty
no drink or drugs were consumed
these songs plucked clean from the void
crushing any doubts i had that i needed to be high to write
this record is the antithesis of all that tiresome rubbish you’ll normally hear
jeffreys music is always unexpectedly familiar with tiny twists
my lyrics are concerned with life death and infinity as per usual only better
i cant wait for you to hear it
jeffrey is gonna mix it back in alabama
this is a record you will cherish for the rest of your life
i am very very happy
wow!
music is the answer
it always was
now i reaffirm it in spades

Hi SK, I can't wait. I hope it does not get very long to produce and make it available to listeners. Isidore has, as you say, something familiar because it "looks as if" music was also yours, but it does also have some peculiar accents, those tiny twists you mention. It will be another beautiful, hidden gem.
    Can't just wait…

I listen to Isidore more than any other Church related CD besides Forget Yourself. HOB is a close third. Sk and JC are a great team. A detached, trippy, melodic, alluring and philosophical band.

I can't wait to hear your latest collaboration! So nice to read that you're really happy these days, what with all the opportunities, music, art, love, life, etc. Makes me smile. :-))

'this is a record you will cherish for the rest of your life'

SK, I'll treasure them ALL for life! Have to admit thought, I've copied all the ones I have to my PC so that I'll have a back-up copy when I wear the original ones out, which I'm sure I will.

May your new combined tracks find you well, Mr. Kilbey.

I love the euphoric messages of the universe gifted by the gods that see light in a lowly human soul. However, I love to hear the low physical state speak forth in poetry and sound. I find your higher soul well pressed and your lower self similair. May this new work be blessed by the those whom look after your spirit.

    Giving you Pan's blessings!

when I was younger there was a band you were in that had a song about (I think) hallucinating under a giant nougat-filled chocolate bar. Are they still going?

I anticipate the arrival of your voice singing new poetic melody to me …. and everyone else, of course!

I found this a little humorous: my lyrics are concerned with life death and infinity as per usual

    hehe — love it.

Take care, and God bless you and yours.

    wow! wow wow wow!

sk, congrats, your loyal following of time beings most eagerly await what sound to be theeee best-est thing to come from your able mind and soul and aether and everything else in quite a while. And considering that most everything else that you've had a hand in is excellent, that's saying something!

truly looking forward to it. May Mr. Cain have a safe journey and accomplish the mixing and what not in good order. I'll do my darndest to help get it in a local record shop once it's out on disc, though it'll probably also be purchased online the second we can do so. aye, two copies! that assures it's harder to lose.

    thank you!!
