What is the thing we crave most in life?
The sense that someone somewhere remembers & loves us.
Even better if we love them in return.
Anything can be endured if that idea holds fast.
What could be worse than discovering how fatuous, how ignorant that assumption can be?
So, is it better not to seek?

Tony Pucci is right and I’m shocked that he’s the first person to suggest this, but always copy everything when you’ve finished typing so that if the network goes down you can paste it again afterwards and you’ll never lose text again. There’s nothing worse than lost time you’ll never get back!

I received an email yesterday titled SK gig announcements, I was so excited only to find there are no Melb gigs listed!!!! Gee I miss those Continental days, it’s been over ten years since you’ve played solo here, can’t we get one more fix before you venture O/S? Pls Pls Pls

    Come to Melbourne.........again, please | 6 April 2006 at 8:03 am #

    here! here! Amanda Prints

Remember that show you did with sam and tim at the Continental.
I think you did a couple of solos, a few with jack frost and a couple with Marty (as the church).
I’m sure there was one show where you looked like jim morrison(unhealthy JM) cos you were well um…fat, had a really long beard and hair and was wearing shades.
You actually looked older 10 ago than you do now.
Funny though despite your weight back then you still looked very cool rock star, not many people can do that.

    Queen Hatshepsut | 6 April 2006 at 9:09 am #

Ah computers…can’t live without them…but often want to throw them out the window. Grrrr.

Through a day of mundane errands (fill up the tank, buy cat food, go to bank, have existential crisis) I was thinking of Elektra on and off throughout the day and praying things had gone well. Now I shall just extend my good wishes into next week, and indefinitely.

Lying in bed, having one of those “Christ it’s all so meaningless moments (am really getting too old for this shite!) and yet I thought still, I hope and pray and wish good things for a young girl I’ve never met but whose father has brought me much joy. Indeed.

And yes, definitely do save on Word if you can. We all learn the hard way.

um, i’ll just have a comment salad today, thank you…

you learn something new every day… if you let yourself, i suppose… thanks to Puccifish for the Word tip… ahhh grasshopper…
and thanks to Denise for perfectly describing not only her day, but i’m sure the day of many here…
your intent is appreciated by so many souls out here in the night… i hope that gives you strength…

    love, thoughts, and dreams…

    “Listening to Luna’s dreamy ‘Penthouse'”
Great album, a girl I had a crush on introduced my to that, she worked in a book shop I would have read a book a week just so i could talk to her, we ended up going out a few times. Sorry thats enough, but Bonnie and Clyde(In French)(SG cover) is such a great track, Mick Havey(In English) did a cover at the same time I got confused,as I bought both albums at the same time, kinda me spun out, til I worked I bought two albums with the same cover in the same week.
    Btw love your site Krissy

My iBook was the smartest purchase of the year, but Steve is nevah gonna get one.

Sorry about the lost bloggy, man. technology is often the bane of my existance. but then again, i would never have found shadow cabinet back in the early net days, and might never have found out more about the church than the cd’s that popped up once in a while in my backwoods colony record shop.

good luck with the op, thinking of youse (plural of ‘you’ in small town canada).

Argh! I hate when that happens! It’s sooo frustrating when what you’ve worked on so long just goes poof. So sorry you lost that whole big entry.

As for doing a backup…sometimes I remember to do it at home, but I’m clueless about how to save stuff to disc etc. if I’m not on my own pc.

Hope the HiFi Mike gig went well last night.

you know i never ever had a fave church cd but ultc really quite brilliant, but then i guess you all know that.
