nemo

last night of musical was great

thanks

dunno when it will  be back again

i find myself wearier still than before

simultaneous need to rest and exercise

the wind is strong out there

summer has packed up n gone

a nippy little winter up ahead

my limbs heavy my head n heart too

i hear bad news about friends

this random and sometimes cruel world indeed

and its dips and dives

sooner or later

we all have to crash

Don’t you mean Nimrod, BadKnee I mean Nebad?

Anyway, I met so many kind people in Melbourne. Firstly, the guy who showed me how to work the machine to buy me a train ticket and told me which platform to go to. Secondly, the people of Oakleigh. The sweet girl in the mall who directed me to Atherton st. Still I turned the wrong way. The guy in the pizza shop who redirected me, the guy in the furniture shop who redirected me again to find where I was staying.
Drummond St is such a great Melbourne street, complete with bowls club and vintage RSL. I loved the hall where you performed. One of those classic old places (1906) that I equate with Melbourne. I was very surprised how universal the story of Van Park is, how each character might relate to an aspect of personality or experience. Despite some uproarious moments, like discovering your bulge was actually a styrofoam noodle, hearing JPY open with a song about an orgy (so well delivered and polished), your Spanish and tooth guitar playing etc, there were also moments where I felt quite touched (more than usual). I’m so glad I went! Great to see you! and some very promising young talent in the cast!
The karma for people being so kind to me yesterday, was that today at Oakleigh station I met a young lady who I overheard having a phone conversation about finding emergency accommodation. She is a victim of domestic violence. Well whether her story is true or not, she was a very sad lady, shivering badly in body and voice, I doubt can be faked. She asked me how I could stand wearing sandals on a day like today. I told her I’m from Sydney and had no idea it would be THAT cold. I was amazed she would care about my feet under her circumstances. I told her I couldn’t help but hear her conversation. She said her partner hit her with a bat when he found out she was/is pregnant. I gave her something to buy a meal and or umbrella with. I told her to go to a church. She said she had and they’d given her the cardigan she was wearing. The police had given her a list of refuges to try ringing, all of which are full. I felt so bad to leave her on the platform. For the sake of people like this, I hope at least the weather warms up.

yes, some on a train bound for seeming glory, dancing in bars of seductive oblivion, others bound to destroy but their parallel bearings, the sunshine too bright to emote for them ..heh, me i precariously dance the fine line ‘tween them ‘til i fall nether the fence, either side i ponder, mmm ..we all seem lost in these moments to me, i surrender & wonder as Solomon Burke may ..merely break down, in stale sentiment …rock on into another day mah crazy uncle, sons of the silent age we are!! ..

Don’t know if you have ever heard of the 5 rites. Supposed to allign the spinning of your chakras. I am agnostic about everything, but that means I think this may be possible, and I am doing this. If nothing else, it is a very nice, quick workout. Supposed to pre-date Yoga – was formulated 3 thousand years ago, so they claim.
