    Hi sk,

You’ll be hitting the stage in the gong in 2 hours time. Rock your socks off, knock em dead and all that.

Thanks so much for Isidore, an early Christmas present. I love it! What a great mix of songs. A bit early for favourites yet, I’m just enjoying it as a whole, but certain songs are already replaying in my head. You never sounded better. Sounds like an echo I know, but it’s true. Your voice is luscious and enveloping.

A big storm has just passed here in Sydney, the air is nice and fresh and I’m listening to Isidore. It’s all too beautiful!

    Love Di

Of course, I intended to post a follow-up reply with something like, “Looking back on it – great sounds!” – but that would be truly too trite.
All I can say in my current state is: ‘phucking fenomenal!’ To borrow a phrase (that I doubt was exclusively Ian Meldrum’s in the first place), do yourself a favour and see this show if you possibly can. If you have to move heaven and Earth to do so, ask them both nicely and see what you come up with – cheers!

I mean no disrespect to Molly. I was excited and questioning my sense of obligation to cite him when using the phrase he unquestionably made his own. I wish him a full and quick recovery.

have an awesome giggy sk, i so wish that I was able to go, but the bus driver deserted me in Nowra (on the way to Wolly) and took my luggage with him 🙁 So I had to come back to Sydney on the train instead.

No aircon drives me nuts-o too. Maybe it’s the Pitta thing… you need to cool down!

Have a good one, love mm x

was at the Friday night gig in Milton… apart from the three hideous chooks cackling behind me, it was a fabulous night! you all seem to be enjoying yourself, which is always the icing on the giggy cake. can’t wait for the Enmore, all 3 albums will be fab but seeing P=A all the way through again is going to be pretty much nirvana. bliss.

Sorry I couldn’t make it, even though it was (madingly) only 10 minutes down the road! Looking after a brand new puppy only a day in the house. Cut me some slack, this is only the 4th tour since Seance that I’ve missed! Hope it went well. Next tour for certain. How about a “secret” warm-up gig at the Heritage Hotel in Bulli? Ups and Downs and Ride supporting…hey I can dream!

greetings gander (the grey) from one of your southern geese.
hope you broke a collective leg last night..without getting plastered.
got the latest martyred versions of GAF and P=A.
third time i’ve bought these albums.
doin’ my bit for the church economy
he dislikes GAF as a whole…but loves disappointment
the irony….rust never sleeps…it gets a new release.
sammy’s “church single word song” exam tomorrow.
    will advise of result.

drove three and a half hours in the rain to get to the gong show
    great stuff as usual
more instrument changes than a dentist taking on an impacted molar
the four of you are a hell of an advertisement for middle age
(and the old bloke on keyboards and tin whistle is pretty handy too)

    Hi SK,

Thank u very much for the Isidore cd, perfect timing to arrive in time for Chrissie.
A big Congrats on a brilliant musical masterpiece. Interesting beginning with the Privateer and wondering where that would lead. Started to write down the songs I loved, but had to give up as kept getting blown away by the following song. What a listening journey it was, (was going to wrap some Chrissie presents but too entranced by the music).
Thank you for your creativity, continue to shine brightly.

    Peace & love
p.s. Ran into Marty & Tiare after Homebake. Marty was in good spirits with the audiences response to the Church (no surprise to me). Can’t wait for another night of music from my fave band.
