Now, don't go trashing the place, throwing TVs out the window and driving cars into the swimming pool!

    Dan is the high priest.

    Have a great tour.

Hooray for Dan! Aww that was so good. Made me chuckle a few times. He's enjoying having you guys there. What a treat for him and how nice for the whole entourage to be so well looked after. Best way to start the tour I'm sure. You mention Dan's name having a connection with the civil war. I am currently reading Gone With The Wind and the vivacious Miss Scarlett…

Thanks for accommodating the boys and Tiare Mr Dan Charleston.

Hey SK, long time ago I loaded my first Nano with only Church, SK MWP Noctorum and Re-fomation JFrost and Bros Kilbey on it. Only holds almost 500 songs though…Highly recommend to anyone who has a spare iPod to do this.

Wishing you continuing success and fun on your trek. Come home safe.

Dan – the generous man. as u men prepare to embark on this memorable tour…the love from ur fans continues to grow. hopefully our energy and enthusiasm will be a catalsyt for u guys to tear across this country with enough passion to , once again, create memories for us that will last a life time.

i do have to say though, my 19 year old son has been force fed ur music since he was born and can recite lyrics with the best of them. he really enjoyed ur show at HOB here in chicago last june 2009. even though he listens to modern music- he know understands the true importance of musicians…as they are the creators of the force behind each song.

    b safe and well,

Brilliant blog today SK! I am sooooooo jealous that Dan has you guys rehearsing in his home, and standing next to you with the glasses and beard, there's a kinda similarity.
Two places is my most favoured track to date, and when it comes to obscure, I do have days when only Jammed fits the mood. Romantic is a little tricky, probably cos it's a distant memory, but for me I guess it would be either Afterimage, or else To Be In Your Eyes.
Have to say though, Dan The Man, you're not the only one with a specialist iPod! Only this week I bought my daughter an iPod touch, so I've commandeered her old one so I can listen to church and SK wherever I am!

… trying pick my fave church songs. I just can't do it. The ipod shuffle decides for me. Just thinking about narrowing it down sends me into a spiral. For a start how to choose from such a vast body of work and then what about all the memories tied up to them. I don't want to start undoing any of the little ribbons so closely tied to my heart. Every church songs has a sacred rhythm and some kind of secret message for me.

Fav obscure songs. So many. Fraulien, Texas Moon, well, anything from the b-sides releases and Sing Songs. Though I must say that A Different Man is a great song. Can not wait until next week in Portland. Thanks for coming and am looking forward to the trip ahead. Have a safe drive up I-5. Hey I know, I took my family to Disneylnd last week, it's rough out there. 🙂

Dan you seem lovely, i cant imagine you having relationship issues. Ask the guys to record an instrumental of Anchorage 'cos it really is the most beautiful music.
    xox

ps glad they aren't rehearsing in my house cos after Tim put his drumkit in there would be no more room to swing a cat (not that I would recommend that). Its nice to know they've had a warm, welcoming place to stay
