Hey Steve, best wishes in the US, you look great in the pic.
Just been listening to a playlist of your best going back to Bel Air. You’ll still be here when you’re gone on all the radios and devices in the world.

It’s great to see a blog post from you again. I’m very glad you’ve arrived in the USA safely. I get to see you and the band in just a few days, in Salt Lake City, including the meet & greet, and I’m super excited.

Having just flown a long flight myself, I wonder if you could even count how many times you’ve flown across the pacific. The amount of time you’ve spent in airplane seats must add up to a staggering number after all these years.

At10/5 Triple Door show I really felt the great energy of the band. Great vesrsions of Starfish songs. And OMG Anaesthesia came! Amazing Day5 remix. Loved your extra wigglely move (can’t get enough, so I hope you keep it up;) Thank you for all the wig outs! Transcendent show!! Thank you so much. 10/6 show was also wonderful, with different good energy. So happy I could finally hear loud enough bass of yours on this tour. I could really hear each of you that night, and I was stunned once again how great the band and the music is. Now I’m feeling blue because you guys are gone, but I will keep the wonderful moments in me forever. Safe trip, and hope your sinus trouble gets better;) Steven. xoxo Masumi

I’ve got the vapors. There is something dreadfully wrong with my phone, and I haven’t been getting any blog posts since Valentine’s Day. Look at all the dreams, nightmares and dark matter between stars I have been missing out on. I swear machines conspire against me. It must be because I am a bad fairy, born backwards and redheaded in the midnight hour. Love you so much & can’t wait to see you again.

Unbelievably, no one has commented on SK’s American tour report. FYI, I drove a significant distant (7 hrs) to see the band for the 10th time in Kansas City on October 14 and it was worth every single mile and then some. Starfish in full was predictably excellent, but it was the second half of the show that really sealed the deal with unexpected offerings from the fantastic Hologram of Baal (Anaesthesia!! and Louisiana) plus choice cuts from the back catalog, spanning all eras. No hyperbole – the show was one of the best I have ever seen. Kilbey is singing and performing better than he did in the band’s ‘Heyday’, so to speak. Not to mention that Man, Woman, Life, Death, Infinity is one of the band’s greatest achievements. I could go on and on, but you get the idea…

Hey there glorious Steve. God bless much love my friend! I bought a few church albums on vinyl. Man I was even lucky enough to meet Marty back in Pittsburgh a decade ago. Did you enjoy Andre Brenton’s magnetic fields that I handed you back in St. Louis?? That’s the land of my forefathers. Loved it. But the they gave the firs a way better sound system than you guys. Darn!! Anyway Steve man you are such a rockin guy. Full of life and inspiration. I really mean it. I love you guys so bad. Andre Bretons magnetic fields I think was 1919-same year as the magnetic theremin…, in a way 1919 was the year of magnetism. Haha. Awww man I tell everyone about your small venue low cost shows and how nice you all are. Ahhhh all the best to you Steve and the church. !!!! You guys are legend man. Your pal, Kevyn HareBinko
