shadow cabernet

headache

clouds gather

wanna hide away from all that is unhidden

skulk deep into some covers and dream a forever

so warm outside

the green billowing sea grasping at our shores

peace is delicate

my eyes blur the words

my ears veil the sound

nothing more to say than that

just another afternoon

before its all drifted away

    that sounds like my yesterday
    the repetitive loneliness of being
the chance of rain scares me
    surrounded by children laughing
    logical mind versus emotional turmoil
one slays the other on the battlefield
    and vice versa
    the never ending battle
    cosmically underpaid
    in the light
    in the void

This one is probably one my favorites out of all that you’ve written so far. Short and simple but describes a familiar feeling so well that I can get lost in it now as I’m sitting at my desk at work.

This is another one of those times I don’t know what to say. :^/
I suppose you’ve got a lot going on but worry won’t help.
No problem has ever been solved through worry.
Keep the faith that everything will be okay and stay out of the way so that they can be.
(In other words, consider things before acting on them.)
And always remember that you can’t believe anything you hear and only half what you see because our perception of EVERYting is clouded by our stupid minds.
    Take care Love.

Take care my far away friend. I hope you have a great weekend. The laughter and energy emitting from your angels will lift your spirits if not by choice but necessity.

My oldest turns 20 on Saturday, I can remember singing ‘Grind, Fading Away, and Pharoah’ to him in lullaby fashion as if it was just yesterday. Alex now is taking your music to his generation, and with some persuasion, they will understand the impact it can leave on a person’s life. Such as Floyd, (early) Genesis, Yes, ELP, and the Doors did to so many of ours.

    AsAlways,
    Darrin K.

O nobly born, the headache will pass along with the clouds. Forever’s on the horizon…live to your best until it comes. You’ve been doing beautifully so far.

    16. A star fell from the heavens and a great calamity it did bring upon these people. Yet so united were they in thought and purpose that they were able to withstand the storms that did follow. Many a good deed did
manifest among the people; for in the wake of tragedy, a feeling of peace and hope did lift them high with thoughts of gratitude and empathy, enough that no man was a stranger and every stranger was a brother or sister to the next. And it was well with them.

    17. And they dwelt in stone domes.

    18. Pull thyself away from that which weakens and align thyself with all that strengthens. May joy be upon you every day. Wash thy face in a sea of clear green, anoint thyself with all that’s pure and clean.
