Very different overall, but it does remind me of "Afterimage". Magician Among The Spirits is a very underrated album.

Again, love what you do, Steve.

    pastoral christmas time meadows
    lost footsteps in the snow
    leading me where?
    to dream land
    to the ionoshpere
to the level where dumb beasts
    and brilliant magicians dwell

    this music is travel

    thank you Steve

    Lost in the drift
    lost in the storm
    this storm of off geometries
    crystalline patterns

    I remember you
    my loving wife
    my undying strife
    I remember you, my love

    Where we drift once before
I never think this will be before
I think that we are ruined
    by gods early light
by the notion that we have it right.

    words inspiring
    music lifting
    you are the master
    the magician

it is also snowing here in Chicago, im having a difficult morning. It is 10am and i just watched ur video blog. last night my cat Taylor become very ill, he recently went blind and would not eat. my wife and 2 yr old daughter went to her parents for the weekend- they would not have been able to handle the sickness. i stayed up with him all night and took him to the vet couple hours ago. he is gone now. he was a wonderful pet and i loved him dearly. ur vid helped in- that i was able to reconnect back to the present. the music was strong – yet sad. the images of snow falling is what im looking at outside my window right now as ur vid plays on. i can only hope that Taylor is prancing and playing in a safe place now-healthy and happy, and loved.

u did not know him, but u helped me deal with this today.

    Thanks,

What a fantastic contrast to yesterday! So peaceful, soothing and totally absorbing. The snowflake effect worked so well, and was that whales I could hear? If not, the effect you used was a brilliant idea.
Personally I really struggle to relax and unwind, but I think I'll put this on repeat and peacefully float of on a sea of melted snowflakes with whales to keep me safe. Awesome SK! Bravo! Encore.

You're going all out on this.
it would have been nice at to have done "earthed" as a multimedia thing. (i guess it was with the book).

it would have nice to have a reading of the book on audio tracks that you could intersperse with the music randomly with video.

i dunno. i drank too much last night, i'm gonna go have a sit down.

    love, glynnis

Steve, such a sweet treat to see you at rockwiz last night. First time I've ever seen you perform a Bowie song. Under Pressure with Clare Bowditch was really something sublime. I sang along too and sighed as well. You played well with what you've got stashed away…musicologist is just another string to your bow. You first appeared on stage kinda strutting around with your magical hand gestures. Kilbey with the essence of frank Sinatra. If the church have had enough of doing smashing pumpkins covers you could think about doing some Bowie. I'd sell my soul to see you do an evening of Bowie tunes sometime.

Snowflake imagery stirs something in a remote unseen crevice of my brain.

    Floating jewels in the sky.
    The place where dreams reside.

    Good morning Steve

What a fun night at the Enmore. Does this officially make you a Rockwiz regular? Under Pressure? What pressure? You seemed very relaxed to me. You had a real stage presence and sang beautifully.

If the church ever break up, I know that you will be around for a long time to come. I'll be groovin' to your croonin' in the nursing home – and that's comforting.

    Love

You Rockwizer!! You rocked lassa nite. Congrats, what a show. Glad to c u looking so relaxed and enjoying yourself. Under Pressure? No way, complete opposite. Heard girl near me yell out I love that song when u started signing. Wonder if she knows what the Church have been up to over the years? Really enjoyed it, would have loved to have heard afew more songs. Surprised to see JPY, he's yesterdays and todays hero. Downstairs Peter O'Doherty was standing behind us. Never know who you'll see. What's all the goss from backstage? Bet there's a lot. Hope they filmed it. There's still one show waiting for you, if the price is right do it, A & M will look after u.
Have a great week, rest up for the tour.

    Peace & love
    Therese

Please read John Wesley's "The General Resurrection." It's a very mystical and compelling essay that asserts that their is an idyllic afterlife for your cat and all animals.

Sorry to say Mary it is indeed going to be bad for us and future generations. Obama seems hell-bent on destroying America and if the polls are to be believed the majority of us are also freaking out. I certainly am. Best wishes to you and many prayers.

    Hey Darren,
So sorry to hear about your loss, my brother. I shed a little tear, as not two weeks ago, I lost my 14 year old "son"…who is incidentally named TYLER!! Strange that. In my eyes, he was the best kitty in the world, and was truly an amazing soul. He got very sick and went down hill fast…tried as much as we could. I actually had to put him down…hardest thing I've ever had to do. He was with me in my darkest hours years ago. I just picked up his ashes on Saturday…really tough day. I think unless one's an "animal" lover, one might not understand the profound loss of a "pet". They're family, adn they have souls…and of story. So, please know that I feel for you, man. Hang in there. I'll talk to you real soon.

Cheers to all. Steve, another great tune. Thanks! 🙂

    Lots o' P&L,

    Ben
