Night driving is kind of hypnotic…..a stream of headlights, red ones glowing behind, the sound of tires softly whining, some music playing (The Church, among others), thoughts drifting aimlessly.

Upstate NY is beautiful, at least what I saw of it once, though it makes no difference at night. I've fallen alseep a few times, briefly, on long night drives – scared me. An oncoming truck flashed it's lights once to warn me and the adrenaline rush of being startled awake made me shiver.

Hope PK had a big latte at that Starbuck's to fuel the drive! Caffeine is a nice drug.

Laura has a DVD from Netflicks in the player, she's laughing at an old Betty Page film sequence, as I read the blog – funny. She could come to life as the "Magnetic Strip" girl. She must be 80 by now.

    Safe travels, TTB.

i always liked driving at night. it's quiet. no one's on the road. you can drive really REALLY fast and not get caught.

Betty Page strip tease videos heh; I've got a few of those myself to entertain the girls with….to contrast with my Puppetry of the Penis video……eeeh gads!

Ordered my Man, Art, Tech cd/art off the website today. That website is much nicer than the Church Merc one….bloggers are right, it needs updating. Hope that SK gets a good portion of the $$$ that come from this order.

The art on the site has inspired me for a mask making class I'm taking this weekend. I'm better with fashion or interior design than I am at creating art…so this will be a challenge.

Love these outdoor photos in all the green…looks like a nice place for some yoga.

    SK,
America will miss you, Hell, i'll miss looking forward to your shows.
After reading the blog last night about the money and the worries, couldn't sleep after that. There has got to be something the fans can do to help. I mean, its kinda nice seeing "the church" in small venues. But, we gotta help you guys fillem up. I'll be thinking on that! The church fellowship will come through for ya. We'll do something. We gotta. We all look forward to seeing you guys too much to worry about you guys hanging it all up. I'd say most of us would pay more to come see you, its a hell of alot cheaper than a round trip ticket to AU. You and Kenndy need to get over here sometime next year a play together too. Until the next CD and tour. Be well.

There is a romantic beauty in your struggle… that said I do think your band should be far more popular then say, (…insert lame band here) …anyhow, as my cigg burns, and my beer drains, I have always gained inspiration and optimism from your work, (an the band)… Money seems to be the evil necessity… excuse me for now, as I wander off to paint … in basic obscurity, {yet content}…
Reflecting from the well… best wishes

I love that church shirt in the 2nd picture. It would be great on a sweatshirt or long sleeve T too…
