    Nineveh

This is far too short SK, but brilliant as ever. Even my 16 year old daughter wanted to know what was playing cos she liked it too. So all those anonymous idiots who keep posting in saying they reckon you’ve had your day etc, it’s obvious they’re the ones who haven’t moved forward.

Have to say though the most beautiful sounding word in this one is at 1:29. Ah bless! xx

My favorite part is the interruption by the little one. That's precious. They really keep us in check don't they?

The song from Wednesday's blog "Another Day Another Song" is wonderful. Sounds like it would've fit right in with songs such as "After Everything" and "Song In The Afternoon" on "El Momento Siguiente". Another song on the cd, "Two Places At Once" is one of my favorite The Church songs. For some reason the original version on "Sometime Anywhere" always makes me think of Bowie's "The Bewlay Brothers" – only better (and that says a lot).

A good catchy one. Every child deserves a rock star showing off in their room – your daughter must be grateful.
Noticed that IKEA "Mammut"-table in the background, got one myself.
    Take care everyone!

What the fuck?!?! That was awesome-I bought a new macbook pro not long after you and bought pro tools 8 with all the bells and whistles and was thinking i needed final cut pro because i thought imovie seemed limited and you do something that cool with just imovie and garage band, oh man- its not fair. It really just goes to prove that you either have talent and innovation or you don't-thanks for showing me i don't – its not fair!

Apparently Trent Reznor ditched his massive studio and made also made some songs in the same kinda way, but with just a few more plugins and stuff to prove that point i.e. that its the guy with talent and not the machines. He also made tracks from some of his songs available in a form that people with garage band could use and then remix and some of the remixes are amazing i think some are even on itunes-now thats an interesting idea! You could have hundreds or even thousands of collaborations and remixes-just give us your vocals and music and stand back and see what happens-i'm sure some stuff will be horrible and some will be brillant-would be interesting to see-the steve kilbey international online festival

Ha ha ha! Awesome!!! Still got the old pop star moves (although when you were a pop star you wouldn't have been caught dead frolicking around like that).

In regards to that Jack Frost tour (Aug 31), I saw you on some terrible talk show and this curly haired awful comedian host asked you which one was Jacky and which was Frosty. Ring any bells. Twas hilarious.

Nice song and your committment to fitness is luabable evidenced by your athletic physique. Sk's music and vocals are getting better with age. Every CD commencing with Hologram of Baal and ending (for now) with # 23 has been exemplary. Isidore and Painkiller are also tantamount to vintage Church records.

chorus vaguely reminiscent of tori amos' China… sounds like narcosis +++ on a happy drug… i like how you're exploring those light pop sounds recently and i wonder what it might sound like if recorded "properly", but what the hell is "properly" anyway, this has higher production values than unearthed and manchild 'n miff together, hehe… lovely!

oh man! the idea of being able to remix one of your tracks just gave me an adrenaline rush. Better yet, post us a couple of wav files: a click of some sort, a bass/guitar track and a vocal and then let us have a go at a full out production. I know I'd pour myself into that chance and I can't imagine that there aren't quite a few more creative types here that would as well. Steve Kilbey musically teleporting around the world.

C'mon that's just too fun of an idea and who knows what you might get out of it.
