It’s a big country. Utah is a beautiful state. You guys still have a lot of driving in front of you!! It’s a grind…Grind it out. Sounds like a song I know.

Nothing like the jetlag going from one hemisphere to t’other. You are a more seasoned traveller than i tho i guess and you have to get up there and perform…i have no experience of travelling and heading a rock band. An idea of travelling and chaperoning a dancer tho. Glad you found some good food. Helps. Haha a few peeps over there asked if i was sth African lol. ‘Are you from the south of Africa?’ No… ‘oh Australia? Too far to travel to…’ Hmmm would love to immerse myself in a book at the moment. I need some time and spa-ace. I listened to Painkiller this morning instead. Hope y’all arrive intact. Lucky U.S! Love. 🙂 x

it seems Chilton may have suffered the ‘New Orleans Voodoo’ like Ray Davies and Ace Frehley…

“Night and day the river flows. If time is the mind of space, the River is the soul of the desert. Brave boatmen come, they go, they die, the voyage flows on forever. We are all canyoneers. We are all passengers on this little mossy ship, this delicate dory sailing round the sun that humans call the earth. Joy, shipmates, joy.” — (Edward Abbey, The Hidden Canyon — A River Journey)

Aspen, Snowmass? That’s now LA so they say. Not much difference, I hear. I spent some summer vacations there and around the Southwest in the 70’s as a young girl with my family. Nothing but hippies there then, a beautiful unassuming creative place. Pretty sure they’d not let me in today – not sure I’d want to feel exactly how much it’s changed.

Been looking so forward to the Denver show for over a month now. It’ll be a late birthday present to myself. Safe travels.

from St George you were only 6 hours to Salt Lake City, would have been an easy stop for a show on your way to Aspen. I know the, or one of the problems, is there isnt a venue that fits your needs very well.
But I can dream…..Dream of The Church coming back to SLC, its a good dream.
Oh well, travel safely and rock on!
