Nice work. Will the real Steve Kilbey please step forward? Haha!

This composition reminded me of a Tibetan chant. Nice to see you had some musical support too. Encore!!!

Could have been a George song or B-side on a 1967 or 1968 Beatles record.

Damn, it's over already!!?? That definately sounds excellent, I was hoping for it to bust wide open into a longer song after it ended! Need more, need more!

That cut would kick ass as an intro for a longer cut too maybe on your next gig, but nonetheless is a gem in its own right, either left alone as is, or added to later!

THANKS STEVE for another FREAKY VIDEO!!!!

I'm addicted and may need help soon, but this is a GOOD HABIT that I probably won't kick, probably the only good one I have ya know!?

    I'll donate more soon 🙂

    crying out for a re-mix | 23 September 2009 at 12:11 pm #

Steven, why does Wolfe sound so damn bad on Painkiller? It's a wonderful song but the mix is abysmal. if Tim had tapped his fingers on a notebook it'd have had a better drum sound, the guitars are swamped, the vocals are tiny. Obviously that's the way you liked it – but why?

All this history lesson makes me think of the movie 'Pi' by Darren Aronofsky…if you haven't watched it already…well, let's just say it's the most hi energy lesson in abstract math and religion you'll ever lay eyes on.

John Garratt, what about the medieval period and masquerade balls? Or perhaps the renaissance era in Venice, Italy? And in the world of fiction, didn’t Romeo make use of such an event to get into the rival household?

Given the negative frame of reference it has given you, I am glad I didn’t watch that horrid show!
