a nice little bit of kookiness to start my day
who's doing wardrobe for the kilbettes?
hope all that NT red dust isn't drowning you
…and yet another beaut offering…..like someboey else mentioned not so long ago, there was a time not so long ago when i trawled music magazines and whatnot for nary a whisper of you and the church, would go for months without so much as a mention…..now we're all rather spoiled, aren't we…….
i must say i had a flash of fawlty towers with the bow tie and collared shirt (manuel!!!!!!!)
Love it, it sounds like a soundtack to a red day. Steve, these songs are wonderful. Thank you, sincerely.
Nice work. Will the real Steve Kilbey please step forward? Haha!
This composition reminded me of a Tibetan chant. Nice to see you had some musical support too. Encore!!!
Finally! Been trying to watch this uninterrupted since I got home!
Hey you….be normal; get a real job! ;-D
Loved this one Steve!Fun song you even got spiffed up a bit and grew your band! What’s next? 🙂
Could have been a George song or B-side on a 1967 or 1968 Beatles record.
I love the music to this one, excellente. AND I just read The Church are playing Melby 5th Dec, yipeeeeee, made my day!
that was way cute steve, you and nk look so cute doing this song together!
Damn, it's over already!!?? That definately sounds excellent, I was hoping for it to bust wide open into a longer song after it ended! Need more, need more!
That cut would kick ass as an intro for a longer cut too maybe on your next gig, but nonetheless is a gem in its own right, either left alone as is, or added to later!
THANKS STEVE for another FREAKY VIDEO!!!!
I'm addicted and may need help soon, but this is a GOOD HABIT that I probably won't kick, probably the only good one I have ya know!?
I'll donate more soon 🙂
I liked this oneit resonates in my head…Thursday I will keep it honest. Any chance of a solo coffehouse tour of the east coast somtime?Frank
Man you're putting out some great songs-how do you find the time? Some of your best work!!
groovy tune, sounds a bit like george midindia meets the middle agescheers from all the huns having fun in germany
Kooky, querky and the bow tie has left me all tongue tied. But my favourite bit was the girl rocker nk…
Kilbey is back in the Bedroom studios!!!
that was a nice history lesson!!!
cd/dvd bring it on killer…amazing stuff!!! Can't wait!
Gee maan!!This one really blew my top..Love it//P
jesus my internet's acting up at the moment….must be all the tonnes of topsoil floating around in the atmosphere…..
Steven, why does Wolfe sound so damn bad on Painkiller? It's a wonderful song but the mix is abysmal. if Tim had tapped his fingers on a notebook it'd have had a better drum sound, the guitars are swamped, the vocals are tiny. Obviously that's the way you liked it – but why?
Dressing nice + masks = "Eyes Wide Shut."
Thanks for leaving out the orgie scene.
Now that's a t-shirt!!!Are you going to pull these together on a cd we can buy Steve? That would be tremedous.
classic ….. always inspiringtake carejeffrey cain
Just heard about the horrible dust storm in Australia. Sydney looks like Mars. I hope you and your family are all safe and well.Erin
I liked the tune. The weather must be getting nice over there in Bondi Beach (is that it?)
Is the new Blobfish Album almost ready?
God Bless and keep you and your family.
All this history lesson makes me think of the movie 'Pi' by Darren Aronofsky…if you haven't watched it already…well, let's just say it's the most hi energy lesson in abstract math and religion you'll ever lay eyes on.
second comment for this post
nothin' to add to the first
…other than that I'm right now sitting on the balcony of a little bungalow in Bali having just downed my first Bir Bintang
… and that life is good
Fantastic, loving this stuff… it's very reminiscent of Lennon's early solo work to me.
faultless blue sky and a layer of talcum-powder dust on everything….
hope all's well, killa
The honey with the guitar has great norks!
I'm still loving Isidore Jeffrey – along with many, many others!!Encore??
John Garratt, what about the medieval period and masquerade balls? Or perhaps the renaissance era in Venice, Italy? And in the world of fiction, didn’t Romeo make use of such an event to get into the rival household?
Given the negative frame of reference it has given you, I am glad I didn’t watch that horrid show!
I wish you health and happiness every day!Ich wunsche Ihnen Gluck und Gesundheit jeden Tag!Je vous souhaite sante et bonheur chaque jour!
Grymt bra låt!!!
I smell a new Kilbey or Church album from this song, sniff sniff, and it smeeeeellllsss sooo sooooo gooooodie!
