raining pouring olde mans gnawing

thunder wind cheetah black rain heart

cruise falcon streets awash shiver shudder

falling down in amber lights

big city outline radio off wrong turn neon crack

shop window dummy sign trash gutter over flow

wipers window droplets racing rhythmic blur

tail light flash sleepy now lonely too

making music rain fall stick a round peg square whole

listen here hear this splash pitter patter rattle hit

pop drop cops blue car zoom speed reduce translucent

midnight blew thru door i come home i dream alone

cant start cant stop cant score cant shop

must sleep now

must switch off

must turn in but into what?

Oh and I love the poetry in today’s post, short but packed with visions.

We all have our lairs We wind up in ours We wind up in theirs… Tyson Meade, Motorcycle Childhood. another angel’s voice. We’re Like still makes one cry like a teenager… so it’s good.

was played while at record store yesterday looking for a copy of a cd I had ruined accidentally; a friend has copied/given the one ruined… thank you.

while in store (also) found old SeaHags — they were gifted but remember how we would all be at the IBeam, making bets on who would fall off the stage first — was told that one (at least) is still alive; was seen on streets selling weed recently; once law passes how are they going to make money? (I) told of Margot… he didn’t know/put on (for all) to listen to; while looking for/retrieving found the vinyls of Tommy Bolin’s two, both Private Eyes and Teaser… they’re still in good condition and prettier than anything deep purple.

Asked if I would give his thoughts re Margot — explained I knew nobody; just had heard… but would anyway.

He started crying. God, I hate that street on a weekend; too many tourists, but glad I went.

You can’t stop but dreams anyway you catch them are good.

turn in – to a restful sleep
it’s very, very healing, and good for the soul.
very important not to let those feet vere of the right path,

I read once there is a way to dream with other people, but it’s been
awhile since I read that book – don’t ‘member name of it.

    peace and love.

Alliterative long lines! And stormy weather. Your Anglo-Saxon DNA has made its way into the Time Being. No wonder you wanna go back to Sweden.

    Perfectly captured.

A lot of pain evident, too.

…remember that the grass is always greener…

turn into patience, into light, into surrender, into survival, into forgiveness, into silence, into peace, into re-birth, into creativity, into strength, into hope, into calm, into clarity, into acceptance, into ascension, into understanding, into everything, into nothing

    I dream alone.

I read recently a North American Indian quote…went something like…Be the tree which has the courage to stand alone. Nothing like a windy dark night with rain slashing against the window to feel the truth of our solitude.

I suffered from insomnia in the past, it was like my brain would not function on the same level as during daytime… a source of visions, lots of incontrollable thoughts. Not very pleasant, I should say…
On a different note, dear SK, it is summer here in the boreal hemisphere, and I am leaving for long-awaited, well deserved (?) summer holidays today. I will have no internet access for 3 weeks so I will disappear off the radar, also from this blog of yours. I will miss you very much as well as everybody’s comments, and I’ll have to work hard to catch up when I get back. It’s 3 weeks without a daily SK dose; I have antibodies (I’ve been reading you for 5 years and I had summer holidays before) but now that I’m also writing regularly it’s a bit more difficult to leave. Anyway, so long… all the best,
    Andreas
