Greetings from suburban Chicago as I am attending Eric Clapton’s Crossroads guitar festival. Clapton, Jeff Beck, BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, John McLaughlin and many others. I am here for Jeff Beck who will play in a few hours.

I knew SK would do great. Upon reading Rolling Stone’s 4 Star review of “Sometime Anywhere” it still amazes me that only two people(Steve and Marty) composed and played what is arguably the most sprawling, otherwordly, omnipotent and trippy Cd from here to eternity. What type of divine inspiration or ethereal inebriation impelled the duet to create such a peerlessly masterful musical marvel (Day of The Dead, The Dead Man’s Dream, Two Places At Once and ect). Only a 1969 John Lennon-George Harrison collaboration could be so idyllic. I love Macca but he does not blow one’s mind with far-out, trippy music. That’s Mr. Kilbey’s forte. God Bless SK !

brien…enjoy the show! Would be nice to see Beck and Clapton play together…let us know if that happens…

Gotta say you nailed it…your critque of the album…i think however was matched or perhaps exceeded with Forget Yourself. All members working for common goal…a church album sublime. But hey its kinda like apples to oranges.

I was at the show last night, and it was sensational.
Couldn’t believe how intense “Invisible” could be with one twelve string guitar!
    What an amazing show.
    Thanks

    Steve Kilbey,

YELLO! not hello, not yello like the band (i like them too)

I mean yellow like the color because of its warmth and brightness! I’m so happy for you- forget the inferno. CYA, I’m in a flurry to hear your new music!

    Brien C,
I’m enjoying your passions for the musics. How long have you been a Church fan?
