i whipped this up on the way home from perthhope you like itcoming soon roddy radar interview
How the heck do you do it seemingly so easily???
Cool video for the "Painkiller" song bro! Thanks!
COOL!!!!!! I like some of your "instant songs" better than the one's that (ahem)appear on some of the latter Church albums that seem a little overwrought…..but not "Happenstance" of course – best song I've heard all year! Can you persuade the band to make it to "the 'Gong"?
Oh yeah! did you really just whip that up? love it.
gawd I'm sick with envy! (damn right anon)
NK looks great with a gtr…the girl can move!
Sounds pretty good for an aeroplane recording.I cant hear any engine noise in there at all..
'tis very goot, yah?
so glad things turned out so well out west……should be just as cool at byron a coupla weeks from now….
my favourite off painkiller
never underestimate the power of the 'la, la, la' or the 'yeah. yeah, yeah' or the 'woo hoo hoo'
I do like it! Nicely done Sir.
"I just whipped it up on the way home from perth" did you? "Hoped I liked it?" I did – A LOT!!!!!!!
Something magical leaps forth from your face when you smile Killer.
Love to you and your fambley
NOW Reeeeelly looking for to the Amperth.
cool stuff as always. that's a great song. enjoyed the crazed multidimensional cafe interview, and great to hear you hit it home on the west coast.
I like it, it's cloudy and easy to listen to. Dreamy.
I'm excited because I'll be seeing you in Brisbane this month with The Church.. being 19 I haven't had a chance to see you before. I can't wait 🙂
this one is really good! love it
There are many interesting elements at work here but the drumming stands out most eloquently.
Yet another catchy tune from the maestro!
I have to agree with Richard though about the power of ‘la, la, la.’ I reckon it's recognised in every language? Most of my family are in Austria; my aunt and uncle are both musicians/singers and whenever there's a song with the good old ‘la, la, la’ in it and they want their audience to join in, one of them will always say, ‘come on you can all join in with the English text.’ Haha!
I was just listening to Painkiller on my way to work. Love that CD!
P.S. But my favorite cut from that album is "Not What You Say."
It is eerily gorgeous, hypnotic and never fails to totally quiet my mind every time. I just LOVE that song because it takes me "there."
looking forward to coming home…Jonny Hollywood
Go killer. Groooovy.A good incentive to listen to pk later. Got to drive and pick my lad up from the Muse gig tonight in Brum. I'm not too keen on them myself to be honest.
Love that track. It's in the top bracket of tracks on Painkiller (along with virtually all the others).
I too love the la la las. And that 'come on' is the most chilled out, yet effective I've ever heard. The antithesis of all of Z de la Rocha's with Rage Against the Machine.
nice work //happy 11.11everyone
Wherever you are… you are always surrounded by angels.
definitely not intended in a creepy way, but dude, you have a very cute wifey!
might have to revisit painkilla tonight!!
keep up the good work…
penned for Mrs Kilbey I believe….
La la la…lalallala!!
better than that last dullard church album anyway.
love it!! you're amazing, steve. 🙂
