For the record, I put my money where my mouth was and ordered U#23 on vinyl. Thanks for making that available.

To underline my point, I alreaady own it on CD. Music I like I get on CD. Music I love, I get on CD (so it will last) and I ALSO get on vinyl (if I can) so I can give it the listening it deserves every so often.

    Translation:

Vinyl pays. Idiots like me are apparently willing to part with a good load of dosh for it. Yesterday’s technology at tomorrow’s prices and all that.

I’ve seen the German P=A on eBay for $300. Can you really afford to keep your library off vinyl?

Enjoy your gigs. I’ll be seeing you when you come stateside this summer. Maybe you’ll recognize me. Then again, maybe all the old filaments from LA are burnt out. You weren’t paying too much attention to a lot of people back then. I suppose we’ll see.

Go rock now. That’s an order.

Knock’em dead Killer, they’re so lucky to have you. Enjoy your time away in Newi. You’ll have a brilliant time Im sure.I remember seeing The Church at The Cambridge a few years ago (it absolutely bucketed rain all the way up there from Sydney). It was PK’s birthday. I stood level to Marty’s amp for the first time which nearly deafened me and I remember this guy jumping the barrier to try and hug you. Funny night. xxx

Hope the gig goes well tonight. I’ve been so caught up in the excitement about your Pittsburgh exhibition I haven’t had time to get too pissy about not getting to see your solo show (or the upcoming SK vs MWP one either). I’ll make sure to pout a bit over the next several hours though, just to keep in practice!

I would love to be there SK but i am half way around the world. I’ve contemplated moving to Australia just to catch all of the side performances you guys have going on.LOL. Well that might be a bit much. Have fun at the show and be safe in your travels. I’m sure you will help a few people to smile very big tonight. Painkiller is still a wicked album to listen to by the way. Looking forward to maybe getting an autograph this time around on the tour. Haven’t got one yet. Maybe I can get Marty to find you! Namaste.

Great news for vinyl enthusiasts! Second Motion Records will release Untitled # 23 as a double LP set in June.

fiendss – anyone know the date the church will be playing the ottawa blues fest? trying to avoid scheduling a work trip during that time, but gotta commit within days. Please feel free to email me if you’ve got the secret unnanounced details 🙂

My copy of #23 has still not arrived.
Sad, given the increasing number of reviews on HW. I’ve just read Fandorins…he expresses himself so beautifully….I’m salivating here.
I soooo hope it arrives in time for the weekend.
    Much lurve to you SK.

For the first time since 1999, I will miss the Church on an American tour.

    Shit.

Loving the new Church record, SK. It sounds to me a bit like AENT but with a more classic-rock vibe. Can’t wait to hear the other stuff from the studio sessions if it’s ever made available. I hope you guys can keep on making music until you kick; it keeps getting better and better and should set the gold standard for mature artists of all types.

Painkiller is interesting too. It definitely has your signature sound! I like the instrumental tracks. Some of this record conveys to me a Brian Wilson, California-y sound.
