Congrats on hitting 500 posts. The amazing thing is they’ve all been at the very least interesting to read. I know, I know, some people will say “cmon eek, the very first one wasn’t interesting” but you know, I started reading right at the beginning (by your second post) and the first thing I thought was “Steve Kilbey’s got a blog. hmm…that’s going to be interesting. So there you go. 🙂

    Enjoy your vacation too.

god, how you can butcher Sancho’s minds to shreds and then, with a piece like this, whip them all back together like a Pollock painting. Maybe your vindication is like a second birth for you, and is for all of us.

It would be lovely to be in a caravan on the south coast.

Oh but you did miss a beautiful night in Sydney at the Sherman Gallery where vegetarian and vegan artists of all kinds gathered together for an exhibition opended by Peter Garret. Hundreds of people who made a pledge to go cruelty free (at least for the day) gathered to hear Hugo Weaving and the wonderful Sherman family talk passionately about how our treatment of animals has to change. Steve I think you would have been proud to hear that.

My belated list of famous people: I met Brian and Ondine Sherman last night- my idols!
I did push and shove Sam Neil once on set. No I’m not an actor, just did a little extra work. I served a young SK in the adyar bookshop in 1984. Does ‘That will be $45 please’ count? I would have liked to have said something but there was a queue of people behind. I talked to the very sweet and cosmic Richard Ploog the very next day about books on meditation. Oh,and I sat in the bus from North Bondi to the city and chatted with PK some years back.

    Finally got EMS – beautiful.

    Have a great holiday.
