a faint moon

whispering somewhere

you wake up and you cant remember

the island is divided

summer quarantine

winter strangers

the ocean has left

limbs of traffic amputated

even the trees

keep thinking its yesterday

keep remembering its tomorrow

    a no explanation-ish, less is more-ish, boys of summer-ish,
staring into a deep pool and reflecting your existence-ish kind of entry.
good stuff. does the moon ever have a loud voice? maybe.

I can actually FEEL the sense of “withheld” in this…

    God, that’s amazing.

    Genius SK.

Keep wishing it was another time…
Keep believing it all must get better.

let’s go a souling to honor & appease those who have passed
let our prayers penetrate the mortal veil, samhain is upon us at last
a treat for a melodic tune, jacky lantern holds the adversary fast,
scary faces, bonfire traces, old wise tales, let’s look into the past
between yesterday and tomorrow, the departed will sing and dance
with us one last time before they walk the razor’s edge and laugh
as they’re welcomed back to the Beginning in the land of Enchantment

Love the poem…especially the line “limbs of traffic amputated”.

Hey, that background looks like a subway, but i’m guessing it’s your room.

“…how tired i am, the evenings and mornings, the nights and days..” “my scalp is drying-up!”
