Gutted for you about the dosh. I don’t like to think of The Chrunchies arguing. You’re that important to me that of course I spend loads of time thinking about the recording. I know it’s unrealistic to think that it’s all smoking joints in the bogs and then returning to George Martin playing with cut-up reels of tape.
Take care Steve. I love you lots you know.

Hang in there Sk. You are our oracle, our favorite lyricist and lead vocalist, our animal loving vegan replete with Eastern religious mysticism. You exude pacifistic spirituality. You are cooler that dry ice.

All Love and Blessings to you and those you hold close to your heart Steve!!! May you be overcome with patients and restraint when those who you come in contact with test you.

Enjoy the weather and take a swim for me. I am shivering in the cold of Rochester, NY.

May the rest of your Tuesday be joyous. My Monday is ending; I will soon toast you with a tasty THC nightcap.

a-ha!! so THAT’S how that 50 thousand dollars mysteriously deposited itself into my bank account. sorry, steve, i can’t return it~~i’ve already bought all kinds of new stuff with the spending spree i went on. thanks for all the new shoes.

    hahahaha. just joking.

i have a lot of reading to catch up on….been extremely bizzy as of late. but that isn’t a bad thing for me as it has helped me keep my mind off of a recent personal, sad event.

and as we edge closer and closer to the release of yet another church masterpiece, i’m getting more and more antsy. i LOVE when a new album comes out~~i feel like a kid all over again on christmas morning~~the plastic on the CD case is the wrapping paper and the CD is the present i’ve been wishing and waiting for all year.

    lotza love…..

On the DVD;The colours are blended with limited saturation and colour grading, that raw sound that makes you feel like you were there is off the desk, and mixed with 3 cameras to create the soundscape of realtime… I hope you all enjoy…It was my directoral choice…It’s not cd crisp, its the gig live and you’re in the best seat in the house with ya red wine and Kilbey’s only inches from yr face..

Wotched the dvd for the 4th time tonite while cooking dinner and drinking a cuppla beers. Love it…I concur with Davem..great effort Matt D et al.

Didnae worry Steve..the $$$$$$ will turn up. They go round in cyberspace but usually eventually get where they are meant to (you’ll probably have to give them the right number though !!!).

my thought for tonite…how much do I love GRIND ! sensational song.

PS…..Steve..Princey said you might becoming to Melby soon? is this true

Princey…I knew it would be true, after all….you wouldn’t pull something as important as killer coming to Melby out of your toosh. I just couldn’t remember which date you said or where he would be playing. Or is it a private gig ?

Always exciting to hear of Churchie happenings — especially Churchie album making!

Hope your family members feel better soon. You too — it’s no fun feeling out of sorts.

And I also hope your money finds it’s way into the proper account. Meanwhile it looks as if this would be a good time to hit the PayPal donate button on TTB.

PS I had the funniest, most presumptuous dream today, during a nap… I was part of some kind of augmenting group of musicians onstage with The Crunch, and I had worked out this brilliant yet humble little guitar backing part to play in “She’ll Come Back For You Tomorrow”, but Marty was dead against it… hahahaha, I love naps.

Just got a very rare live CD of the Jeff Beck November 27, 2007 concert at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club in London. This great development would joyfully be augmented further with a new Church CD that will inevitably be superlative.

Matt Davison is a veritable iconic commentor at “The Time Being”. Roy Schieder was a fantastic actor. Very intense and compelling. Lamentably, the movie Jaws incited countless moral morons to kill, slaughter and mutilate millions of harmless and innocent sharks. Many shark species are endangered. The most appalling atrocity is shark fin soup. Inhumane fishermen catch sharks, cut off their fins and throw them back into the sea to slowly and painfully succumb to death.

On a brighter note Roy Scheider was dynamic in the movie Sorcerer. Tangerine Dream’s soundtrack was haunting and suspenseful. Long live Edgar Froese (Tangerine Dream) and Matt Davision (New Zealand).

Tim Finn is Manic and Funny Farm is corker of a movie! | 12 February 2008 at 10:52 pm #

Has anyone noticed that the only time Steve Manages to crack more than 60 comments is when he writes about 1-Drugs 2-Veganism 3-Generally having a bitch about feminists, chauvanists, straights etc. When he writes about music, poetry, his lovely Fictional tales, he only manages a meager 18-30 comments. So we must really all like to bitch and argue with eachother about passionless or passionate topics.

what a simplistic stupid observation i have made- i wrote this to save others saying it esp. that nasty Matty D. who called my argument silly the other day (matt it wasn’t an arguement, it was a diplomatically immune statement from one of the pre-disposed)
