child we move through vivid liquid days

retina burn blue sky beyond all treatments

we learn new steps in wilderness

we take new drug in cocoons

the warm waters within hidden inlets

a rapid storm hurls me out on to a balcony

where pines and gums vie for dumb darkness

black falcon in the pitted night

studded evening quilt of smells sounds conversations

sleep so elusive like a phantom we chase

lovely floating sensation

a pleasant dizziness

wings unfurled unfold

child then you rise up and you see earths terrain

pinnacled zenith into bottomless mine

the suns of all skies dazzled your eyes

the dawn of obedience

and service to nature

has arrived
